Technically not a portrait, it's a mask. From the Movie V for Vendetta, hence the section. I know it was originally a comic but since the reference pic of the mask i used is from the film i put it in this section.
Not very complicated, but i took it on for a number of reasons. 1) I came back from the movie having loved it! (Despite the bad reviews  ) 2) It proved to be good practice on shading and blending 3) I liked the jaunty angle and strived to orientate my drawing to suit (Discovered a nice little method using a cross drawn on tracing paper) I think it's alright, my usual high-contrast style. It could be better though! The hair is poop  I suppose i would improve faster if i did more drawings! O well, lol. I got bored with solid black so in the bottom right where the cloak is i did some little circles. Looks kinda cool i think! Anyway it'll be nice to have something new on my front page! I will be putting a watermark on this in the next week.  |
